fayuen street

fa yuen street at mongkok, the one of must visit places in my trip. this place is filled with sneakers, fashion, digital cameras and camera equipments too. not to forget those great plus cheaper choices in food and beverages. i think i've been to this place for like 3 times in this trip. a place where you would not get bored visiting... or at least to me! i bet sneakers freaker will love this place too..

but visit this place at your own risks as it bring damages to your wallet...

resting at a park near fa yuen street...

this park is filled with elderly and maids of them. a peaceful place for a quick getaway from the hassle street nearby. nothing feel much better than a rest at the park after some hard shopping session.

central

next stop... central, central! i love this place to the max man. how should i describe this place to bring you all a better picture... unlimited of wine and dine plus shopping, it's a killer combination i must say. i'm almost dead here due to the overprice food and tempting pickups from all around central.

egg tarts, roast goose, steamed chicken, barbeque pork, beef brisket, hong kong beer, mango desserts, dim sum, wantan noodle soup and so much more. damn... i got myself all wet by listing all these here.

err.... i mean my mouth is all wet, nothing else!

the must shoot object in hong kong's mrt..

me, poser wannabe...
i know i failed this, but there's always a first time!

mr. ronald mcdonald came into the picture and buy us some snacks
how i wish..

dimsum, dimsum and dimsum.... i just couldn't have enough!

causewaybay

i think it's time to post some lomo pictures i took during my december trip to hong kong. i know i'm slow but i think it's good that i do not post it like 2 years later (as i've tried it before). at least i post it like 6 months later now.. haha!

these are some of the pictures i think worth posting or share. enjoy...

took this outside sogo in causeway bay...
our accomodation is just beside causeway bay mrt, so darn convenient.

another view on causeway bay before people roam the street..
and busying their way to work.

we, at starbucks

sue, on plane

this is the place i'm talking about...
causeway bay, the most mentioned word in this trip, as we stayed here!

used to filled with lots of newspaper... but i'm just too late to shoot the scene!

feel so good to wander around while people are busying their way to work...
but we were force to face the reality once we get back to kl.

couple enjoying their dimsum breakfast at a restaurant...
they can sit for more than 2 hours doing this. i'm amazed!

bali - chapter 6 (day 3)

our next stop is the famous floating temple by the sea, tanah lot. we reach there just in time for sunset and by the time we reach, tanah lot is crowded with tourists. the tide is rising and waves are at large hitting the rocky border.

tanah lot

us stepping on tanah lot

temple by the sea...

this is the entrance to the temple, the tide is rising so tourist were force to leave the temple as the temple will be surrounded by sea water later on.

tanah lot at dusk

abang made brought us to the pasar badung, a sleepless market at denpasar. it's famous for the local as it operates 24 hours a day. the market is huge and there's a lot of varieties. we reached around dinner time, so the market is crowded with locals.

selling fish by the link bridge

we bought some local cakes here as souvenirs

various eggs up for sell here...

not so sure about this but looks like pork intestine to me

a truck full of watermelon

old school florist

look how the obasan wrap her head with a towel

i'm so curious about people bringing along that big basket to the market.... abang made says they are doing doing business with the shoppers by offering their services on transferring the goods to the car. this is kinda special... it's like a human flesh trolley at the market.

but seeing them offering services at this age is another sad story...

we went to ayu minantri for dinner right after the night market for more bakso. this is a famous bakso restaurant at denpasar and only locals visit this restaurant as it is not easily accessible by the tourist.

they serve a special bakso urat here. it's a special recipes by ayu minantri by adding nerves at the middle of the meat ball. and of course the size of bakso urat is double the normal bakso. u can see the difference of a normal bakso with 4 meat balls and bakso urat with only 2 huge meat balls.

this is what we had before leaving bali the next day... the big mac at bali is definitely taste better than what i had in malaysia. the beef patties here are juicier and it's softer. this makes a big different to the burger. i think you should try it out if you're at bali!

bye bali...!
